The Ministers of Economy, Industry and Investment, Transport and Public Works, and the Governor of Hodeidah have launched a campaign to produce dairy products from natural milk in Hodeidah governorate.
Economy Minister Mouin Mahagri praised the efforts of dairy factories in localizing the industry and producing 10 100% natural products.
He affirmed the ministry's support for expanding production, encouraging the export of products, and ensuring cooperation with cooperative societies to promote local production while providing incentives under the new investment law.
He also called for the use of renewable energy to reduce production costs, pointing to plans to localize 20 food products using local raw materials.
Transport Minister Mohamed Ayyash Qahim described the campaign as an important step to strengthen partnerships between factories and associations, and to support farmers and productive families, thus improving their income.
Hodeidah Governor Abdullah Atifi affirmed the local authority's commitment to facilitating difficulties, supporting factories and associations in increasing milk production, and developing collection centers to provide fresh milk to factories.
Representatives of the factories expressed their readiness to cooperate and develop, praising the quality of the products and the dairy exhibition as a step towards strengthening the national economy.
