Sheikh Sabri: "Jewish holidays show their hidden ambitions towards Al-Aqsa"

Occupied Quds - Saba:
The Preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque and head of the Supreme Islamic Authority for the Defense of Al-Quds, Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, stressed that the Jewish holidays and the calls of extremists to revive their rituals in Al-Aqsa now show hidden ambitions in the war for control over the first of the two Qiblas, the second of the two mosques and the third of the Two Holy Mosques.

The Palestinian Media Center reported that extremist settlement groups are mobilizing their supporters to organize provocative marches and large and intensive incursions into the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, during the period of the "lights" holiday (Hanukkah in Hebrew), which falls this year in two days (December 25) and lasts for eight days.

Sheikh Sabri emphasized the full right of Palestinians and Muslims to Al-Aqsa Mosque.

He pointed out that all actions carried out by extremist Jewish groups are legally, civilized , humanitarian, contradict freedom of worship and international laws.

In the same context, he warned against settlers' calls to target the Islamic Endowments Department and harm it. He said: "This is a dangerous game in the fire and reveals what the Jews were seeking to cancel the role of the department, which is directly responsible for managing Al-Aqsa."

The preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque continued: "They want to expel the Waqf Department and prevent it from working in order to put their full control over Al-Aqsa Mosque."

Al-Aqsa Mosque preacher continued: "They want to expel the Waqf Department and prevent it from working in order to put their full control over Al-Aqsa Mosque."

It is noteworthy that the Temple Mount groups demanded in provocative marches during the celebration of Hanukkah last year to expel the Islamic Endowments Department from Al-Aqsa and impose Jewish control over it, noting that 1,332 extremists stormed the mosque over the days of the holiday last year.

The settlers are keen to carry out religious rituals for their holidays inside Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to establish the moral foundation of the alleged "Temple" in preparation for its actual construction in the place of the mosque, which provokes the Palestinians, who intensify calls for more pilgrimages to Al-Aqsa to repel violations.
