A Palestinian report revealed that the Zionist enemy practices escalated on Wednesday during 2024, as it demolished 970 houses and facilities in the West Bank and Al-Quds, while it threatened to demolish 765 other facilities.
According to the report of the Land Research Center of the Arab Studies Society, the occupation , its settlers uprooted and attacked 59,163 trees, 52,373 of which were completely destroyed.
The report also indicated that the occupation seized 53,055 dunums of land in the West Bank , Al-Quds during the past year, closed 955 roads and entrances in various areas of the West Bank, including 76 closures using iron gates.
The report also addresses the plan to annex the West Bank or large parts of it, through initial annexation decisions for areas such as south and east of Hebron, the Jordan Valley, the periphery of settlement communities such as Ariel in Salfit governorate, Maaleh Adumim in eastern Jerusalem governorate, and Kfar Etzion between Bethlehem and Hebron governorates, as well as the lands behind the Annexation Wall.
A decision was also issued by Israeli Finance Minister Smotrich to expropriate land south of Hebron, a practical realization of the annexation policy, and to establish about seven settlement outposts on lands classified as "B", five of them on lands in the Bethlehem wilderness, which are within the nature reserve lands according to the Oslo Agreement and its annexes.
