The media office of the Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine denounced the Authority's decision in Ramallah to stop broadcasting Al Jazeera, freeze its work, suspend its employees, and close its office in Palestine, at a time when our people and our cause are most in need of an audible voice that conveys their suffering to the world.
The movement's media office said in a press statement last night: "We see that taking such a step, for political reasons and pretexts, does not benefit our cause in any way, especially at this sensitive and critical time that our people are going through."
He called on the authority in Ramallah to reverse its decision and facilitate the work of all media crews supporting the Palestinian people and their just cause, including Al Jazeera, and provide them with all necessary facilities.
