Several executive offices in Sana’a province on Monday organized a speech event in commemoration of Rajab Friday. The event, held under the slogan "The Month of Rajab is a Foundation for the Faith Identity," was dedicated to emphasizing Yemen’s faith-based identity and supporting al-Aqsa flood and the Palestinian cause.
The event was organized by the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, the branch of the General Authority for Zakat, as well as the offices of finance, civil service, literacy, environmental protection, neighborhood affairs, and the Red Crescent. It was attended by Shura Council member Abdulqader al-Shawish.
During the event, participants delivered speeches that highlighted the significance of Rajab Friday and the month of Rajab in the hearts of the Yemeni people. The speeches underscored the occasion’s importance in reinforcing the Yemeni people’s faith identity and their unwavering commitment to Arab and Islamic causes.
The speakers emphasized the Yemeni people’s strong connection to the faith, particularly their devotion to the Great Messenger, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), the Prophet’s family, and the flags of guidance. They also acknowledged Yemen’s crucial role in supporting the Islamic religion and spreading its message worldwide.
The speeches stressed the importance of deepening the faith identity to support the nation’s causes, especially the Palestinian cause. They reiterated the Yemeni people’s support for the Messenger of God, his family, and the broader Islamic call, highlighting Yemen’s commitment to spreading Islam across the globe.
The participants also called on the public to draw inspiration from the lessons of Rajab Friday to consolidate the principles and values of faith, continue supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza and all of Palestine, and stand firm against the conspiracies and criminal plans of the enemies.
In closing, the speeches reaffirmed that the Yemeni people are the true supporters and defenders of the Islamic faith and the broader issues of the Arab and Islamic world, as exemplified by the Great Messenger, may God's peace and blessings be upon him and his family.
