Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi met on Monday with Speaker of Shura Council Mohammed al-Aidaroos to discuss ways to enhance integration between the government of change and the Shura Council, focusing on common challenges and priorities.
The premier and the speaker highlighted the Council's achievements over the past year, including key recommendations on government issues.
In the meeting, al-Aidaroos outlined the Council's plan for the current year, emphasizing its alignment with the government’s program and priorities.
He also reviewed the Council's community activities, including field visits to various provinces, participation in national and religious events, and efforts to support the Palestinian cause and the resistance in Gaza.
Prime Minister al-Rahawi praised the Shura Council's role in promoting national unity and steadfastness, reaffirming the government's commitment to strengthening collaboration to serve the national interest and further the outcomes of the Council's work.
