Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting in Sana'a Governorate today, which included the Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayash Qahim, and the Governor, Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, discussed the requirements for working with the building law and its executive regulations for investment projects in the governorate.
The meeting, attended by the Undersecretaries of the Ministry of Transport for the Housing Sector, Eng. Qasim Atef, the Governor, Eng. Saleh Al-Muntaser, and the Governorate Advisor, Abdullah Al-Murtada, reviewed the report of the joint committee from the Ministry of Transport and Public Works and the Sana'a Governorate regarding the problem in one of the investment projects in the New Sana'a Directorate.
The attendees approved the implementation of the project, in a manner that does not conflict with the building law and its executive regulations, and obligated the project owner to comply with the technical and legal requirements when building, and to provide spaces for green spaces and all basic services such as a mosque, school, supermarket and other basic services.
They stressed the importance of working with the decisions and recommendations contained in the report of the joint technical committee, in order to ensure the safety of citizens and preserve the general appearance.
In the meeting, Minister Qahim and Governor Al-Hadi stressed the importance of working with the building law and its executive regulations to prevent violations and avoid any catastrophic accidents that may occur in the future as a result of non-compliance with the standards and requirements stipulated in the law and its executive regulations.
