The Minister of Transport and Public Works, Mohammed Ayyash Qahim, visited the proposed dry land port site in Qaa Al-Qaidi area in Sana'a Governorate, where he was briefed on the geographical location and the floor of the project and its importance in supporting commercial and customs activities and reducing the costs of exporting agricultural products.
The minister listened to an explanation from specialists on the port's development plans and its role in promoting economic development and reviving commercial movement. Minister Qahim stressed that the project is part of the ministry's plan to develop infrastructure in the transport sector and meet future ambitions, and considered dry ports a strategic solution to improve the efficiency of economic and commercial activity.
He also praised the efforts of the competent authorities to improve the land transport sector and provide solutions that support the national economy and agricultural development.
