Official spokesman for the Government of Change and Construction and Minister of Information Hashem Sharaf al-Din expressed on Saturday his sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims of the tragic accident at gas stations in al-Nasifah area in al-Zaher district of Bayda province.
The government spokesman praised the prompt response of the Civil Defense, which quickly extinguished the fires, and commended the heroic efforts of citizens who contributed to extinguishing the flames, rescuing victims, providing first aid, and donating blood. He also acknowledged the exceptional work of the medical teams and the continuous efforts of official and community bodies, including the army and relevant authorities in Bayda, and the security services actively working to uncover the circumstances surrounding the accident.
He thanked the citizens for their understanding and cooperation and urged them to adhere to strict safety measures at gas and oil stations, as well as in the transportation and storage of these materials.
The government spokesman also conveyed his heartfelt sympathy to those injured in the incident, wishing them a swift and full recovery.
