The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed today, Monday, that they have spared no effort to alleviate the enormous suffering in Gaza following the end of the Zionist aggression.
UNRWA Commissioner Lazzarini said: "The ceasefire in Gaza must continue and all provisions of the agreement must be implemented."
He added: "We will spare no effort to alleviate the enormous suffering and enhance the delivery of humanitarian aid."
This comes in light of the ceasefire in Gaza entering into effect yesterday morning, Sunday, at 8:30, after 470 days of genocide, the massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, amid anticipation and overwhelming joy from the people of the Strip.
