Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Thursday condemned in the strongest terms the US inclusion of Ansarullah on so-called list of foreign terrorist organizations.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement that this classification targets the Yemeni people as a whole and their honorable position supporting the injustice of the Palestinian people and reflects the extent of the bias of the current US administration towards the usurping Zionist entity.
It pointed out that America has been accustomed to classifying all those who oppose its policies and reject its dictates and arrogance on terrorism lists and imposing sanctions on them.
The statement said "Those who should be included on international terrorism lists are those whose hands are stained with the blood of civilians in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan and other countries."
The statement pointed out that the aggression and siege imposed on Yemen since March 26, 2015 were announced by Washington and were carried out in full partnership with it, and that America - since Sana'a announced its humanitarian, religious and national position supporting Gaza - has adopted a policy of pressure to dissuade it from this position by obstructing the signing of the roadmap and moving forward with the settlement process in Yemen, forming the so-called Guardian of Prosperity Alliance to protect international navigation in the Red Sea, and aggression against Yemen in partnership with Britain and some countries revolving in its orbit, and pressuring organizations to stop their humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to condemn this classification, which will have negative repercussions on the humanitarian situation in Yemen.
It stressed that this classification will only increase Sana'a's adherence to its principled position supporting and backing the brotherly Palestinian people and their just cause, and defending Yemen against anyone who dares to tamper with its sovereignty, security and stability.
