Sana'a - Saba:
A technical and engineering committee in Sana'a Governorate received the Al-Zahraa Girls' School building project in Hamdan District, which was implemented by the Yemeni Red Crescent Society with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development through the German Red Cross. The project consists of 22 classrooms and administrative and public facilities, at $638,000.
The Deputy Governor, Atef Al-Mosli, praised the efforts of the Red Crescent Society in supporting education through vital projects and stressed that the school will contribute to improving the educational environment for female students. Officials in the Ministry of Education explained that the school, which was designed according to approved standards, provides a safe and stimulating environment for creativity.
The Chairman of the Yemeni Red Crescent Society, Hussein Al-Tawil, indicated that the project is part of a program to rebuild and rehabilitate schools in the governorate, which included building and renovating schools, equipping them with chairs and equipment, providing school bags and cleaning supplies, in addition to training teachers and students in first aid and psychological care.
