Sana'a - Saba:
In a solemn act of remembrance, the Minister of Telecommunications and Information Technology Eng. Mohammed al-Mahdi, alongside his deputy Eng. Ali al-Makni, laid on Tuesday a wreath on the tomb of martyr President Saleh al-Sammad and his companions.
The ceremony, attended by key ministry officials, included a recitation of al-Fatihah for the souls of the martyrs.
Minister al-Mahdi emphasized President al-Sammad's sacrifice for the nation amidst aggression, highlighting the importance of his martyrdom anniversary in inspiring values of responsibility, sacrifice, and heroism.
He noted that al-Sammad's legacy of hard work, symbolized by his slogan "A hand protects, and a hand builds," continues to guide the Yemeni people.
Deputy Minister al-Makni reflected on al-Sammad's enduring example of sacrifice and pride, reaffirming the commitment to his path and values.
The visit also included a tour of an exhibition dedicated to President al-Sammad, where the officials learned about key moments in his life and legacy.
