The universities of Bayda, Sa'ada and Ibb held a lecture on Tuesday in Bayda province, entitled "The moral dimension of the promised battle of conquest and the holy jihad" presented by the Australian Professor Tim Anderson.
During the lecture, Bayda governor Abdullah Idris praised the courageous position, great awareness and pioneering role of researcher Professor Tim Anderson in standing by the oppressed Palestinian people.
He appreciated the efforts of the leaderships of the universities of Bayda, Sa'ada and Ibb in holding and adopting solidarity events and activities with Gaza and Palestine, considering al-Quds as the first and central issue of the nation.
Governor Idris expressed pride and appreciation for the greatness of the Yemeni position represented by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, in supporting and defending the Palestinian people and standing by the oppressed in confronting the Zionist-American project..
In the lecture attended by official of general mobilization in the province Sam al-Malahi, Anderson appreciated the courageous Yemeni position in supporting the oppressed in Gaza, Palestine and Lebanon.
He pointed out that the Yemeni position was a means of pressuring the usurping Zionist entity, which committed the most heinous crimes with the complicity and support of the forces of global hegemony and arrogance represented by America and its allied countries..
Anderson stressed the need for a new multipolar world order and support for the rising polar systems "China, Iran, and Russia" and the "BRICS" system and activating the weapon of economic boycott.
Anderson explained that the American imperialist mentality is what leads and fuels all wars in the Middle East, noting that US hegemony over the world is inevitably disappearing.
He pointed to the formation of a global resistance arc that includes "China, Russia, Iran, Venezuela, Brazil" and the Arab resistance movements opposing American hegemony and the new Middle East project, indicating that this geopolitical arc will be an emerging economic counterpart represented by the Shanghai and BRICS economic alliances, which increases its chances of ending the unipolar system.
Anderson stated that the unilateral coercive measures taken by Washington under the name of sanctions are illegal because international law prohibits economic coercion through the implicit principle of non-interference in the UN Charter. They are also illegal because of the illegal intent to harm the economy of another country and the rights of third-party countries for the purpose of political coercion, in addition to violating international norms and treaties.
He considered what America calls "sanctions" accompanied by land and sea blockades and propaganda wars aimed at changing the regime, a form of blockade, citing the economic wars against Syria, Cuba, Iran, Nicaragua, Venezuela and Yemen, which are similar to the partial sanctions on resistance groups in Iraq and Lebanon, which embody the true meaning of political coercion.
The Australian professor also confirmed that the fate of the Israeli entity after "al-Aqsa Flood" battle is like the fate of the racist regime in South Africa, as the world has called for getting rid of the crimes of Zionist racism and the view of global public opinion has become more negative towards this entity.
Rector of Bayda University welcomed Professor Tim Anderson and his position, which is a source of pride for the nation, pointing out that the university has adopted the project to protect the Arabic language as part of its efforts to preserve the Arabic language from the enemies' attempts to obliterate the Arab and faith identity.
He stressed that the fruits of the September 21 revolution are the stability, independence and sovereignty that the country is witnessing, considering the support of the Palestinian people as the best witness to the positions of the wise leadership represented by the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
