Amran - Saba:
Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi, accompanied by his deputy, Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani, and Governor of Amran Dr. Faisal Jumaan, inaugurated today 189 service and development projects and community initiatives in the governorate at a total cost of eight billion riyals.
The Prime Minister and Al-Madani, accompanied by the Ministers of Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khaled Al-Hawali, Education and Scientific Research Hassan Al-Saadi, Health and Environment Dr. Ali Shaiban, and Governor of Amran, unveiled the board of community projects and initiatives that were implemented at the level of the various directorates of the governorate.
The projects that were inaugurated include the water sectors with a total of 45 projects, roads 18 projects, health nine projects, education three projects, in addition to community initiatives with a total of 141 projects, which were co-financed by the local authority in the governorate, the Central Emergency Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, and the Agricultural Financing Unit, in addition to the contribution of the local community.
The Prime Minister stressed in a statement following the opening, the importance and vitality of the service and development projects that were inaugurated today in Amran Governorate.
He praised the active contribution of the community members in financing community initiative projects.. congratulating the people of the governorate and the local authority for these achievements.
He pointed out the importance of expanding the implementation of such projects and other priority projects that directly serve the people of the governorate.. pointing out the importance of focusing on economic development projects that contribute to the stability of local communities and the advancement of their vital productive roles in serving the economy and food security.
The opening was attended by the Secretary-General of the Local Council of Amran Governorate, Saleh Al-Makhlos, Assistant Director of the Prime Minister's Office, Taha Al-Sufyani, First Deputy Governor, Abdulaziz Abu Kharfsha, Deputy Governors, and a number of officials in the Executive Office.
