Prime Minister Ahmed Ghaleb Al-Rahwi participated in the opening of the third annual medical conference "Obstetrics and Gynecology" organized by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at Amran University for two days under the title "Caring for Women's Health, Caring for the Future of Generations".
The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the conference and its vital topic, which relates to a large segment of Yemeni society. He explained that keeping the mother safe and caring for her is a kind of care for life.
The Prime Minister referred to the speech of the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, on the anniversary of the expulsion of the US Marines from the capital Sana'a and the US Embassy, which was a headquarters for US intelligence and a source of espionage and blatant interference in the sovereign decision of the Republic of Yemen.
He said that Yemen today is living in a state of independence in the political decision after it got rid of hegemony, tutelage and dependence on foreigners.
Al-Rahwi praised the effort exerted in preparing for the scientific conference. He hoped that its work will be crowned with success and produce results that serve mothers , their health and safety.
Education and Scientific Research Minister Hassan Al-Saadi emphasized the importance of this conference, which is concerned with a humanitarian function related to the health of mothers and newborns. He pointed out that the medical profession requires commitment to human values and principles.
He considered the holding of the conference under the aggression and blockade an achievement of Amran University and comes within the framework of the ongoing efforts to upgrade the health and educational sectors.
For his part, the Health and Environment Minister , Dr. Ali Sheiban, praised the research and academic movement witnessed by Amran University, stressing the importance of continuing to organize such scientific and academic events.
For his part, Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development Dr. Khalid Al Hawali stressed the importance of continuing the university's important role in serving the community.
University President Dr. Mohammed Al-Dalaei explained that the conference, which is attended by more than 400 academics from Yemen and the Obstetrics and Gynecology Society of Egypt, will discuss the causes of miscarriages and gynecological tumors with the participation of doctors from authorities and hospitals and specialists in cardiology and diabetes.
The head of the preparatory committee for the conference, Dr. Abdulghani Fares, discussed the importance of the third medical conference organized by the Faculty of Medicine at Amran University in coordination with the Health and Environment Office, Al-Samad Hospital Authority and the provincial leadership, at this exceptional stage that the country is going through as a result of the aggression and blockade.
