Marib - Saba:
Marib Governor Ali Ta'iman inaugurated on Thursday the Qaniyah and Al-Hamra water projects in Mahliya district, at a cost of $300,000, with government support and community contribution, funded by the Humanitarian Finance Fund, and implemented by the Social Workers Organization (SWO).
Governor Ta'iman, along with the director of the Rural Water Authority branch, Ali Al-Samsam, and the director of Mahliya district, Muti'a Thawaba, listened to an explanation from those in charge of the two projects about the components of the two projects: solar systems, tanks, integrated pumping systems, an "inverter" room, a pumping line and a connection line, benefiting more than six hundred families.
At the inauguration, Governor Ta'iman emphasized that Qaniyah water project implementation is an important service project that will alleviate the suffering of the region's residents due to the difficulty in obtaining drinking water. He pointed out that the area has been deprived for decades of basic services, including water projects.
For their part, the directors of Rural Water Al-Samsam and Directorate Thawaba pointed out the importance of implementing these projects in serving the community, expressing thanks for the efforts of the local authority leadership and donors in this regard.
