Gaza - Saba:
The Zionist enemy authorities released today, Saturday, journalist Ahmed Shaqoura as part of the prisoner swap deal "Tufan al-Ahrar".
The Palestine Today Agency reported that the enemy arrested Shaqoura during the ground incursion into Gaza City on December 9, 2023, as part of its wide campaign that targeted civilians and journalists in Gaza Strip.
His release comes amid human rights demands to protect Palestinian journalists and stop the "Israeli" violations that target press freedom in the Palestinian territories.
The Prisoners' Media Office announced that the "Israeli" occupation released 369 Palestinian prisoners as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza Strip, including 36 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 333 prisoners from Gaza Strip who were arrested after October 7.
