Hajjah - Saba:
The General Authority for the Welfare of Martyrs' and Missing Persons' Families inaugurated on Wednesday economic empowerment projects for the martyrs' families and missing persons in Weshha and Abs districts of Hajjah province.

The economic empowerment projects, implemented by the Abs Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society, target 190 families in the two districts at a cost of 130 million riyals.

At the inauguration, Hajjah Governor Hilal Al-Sufi emphasized that the economic empowerment projects for the families of martyrs and missing persons reflect the attention of the Revolution Leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, and the President of the Supreme Political Council to the families and children of martyrs.

The head of the Martyrs' Families Welfare Authority, Taha Gran, pointed out the importance of launching economic empowerment projects to support the martyrs' families in facing the burdens of life and living.

For his part, the director of the Martyrs' Families Authority branch in the province, Mutahar Safieddine, said that the number of beneficiaries of vocational training , rehabilitation is 158 families, 51 families benefit in the field of fattening , raising livestock, including sheep , 97 cows, and three families in food grocery.

He pointed out that seven families benefit in the field of clothing production, 29 in the field of farms and land reclamation, two families in the field of veterinary clinic, collection , marketing points for milk products, and a family in agricultural inputs "solar energy".

The director of Abs district, Ali Sawan, praised the support of the Martyrs' Families Welfare Authority, the local authority in the province and the Abs Multipurpose Agricultural Cooperative Society for the families of martyrs and the implementation of such projects.

The executive director of Abs Agricultural Cooperative Society, Majid Adabi, emphasized the society's keenness to implement projects that contribute to turning martyrs' families into producers.
