Kuwait Stock Exchange ended trading today, Thursday, with its general index rising by 39.71 points, or 0.49 percent, to reach 8142.94 points.

480.5 million shares were traded through 21303 cash transactions, worth 157.2 million dinars (about 484.17 million dollars).

The main market index rose by 11.82 points, or 0.16 percent, to reach 7477.56 points, through trading 346 million shares through 12425 cash transactions, worth 103.2 million dinars (about 317.8 million dollars).

The Premier Market Index also rose by 48.71 points, or 0.56 percent, to reach 8,711.36 points, through trading 134.5 million shares in 8,878 transactions, worth 53.9 million dinars (about 166 million dollars).
