Zaher Jabarin, head of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in the West Bank, said that the resistance has not lost its cards with the Zionist enemy and can oblige it to implement the ceasefire agreement.
Jabarin said in remarks to Al-Jazeera on Saturday evening, "We seek with the mediators in Qatar and Egypt to resolve the outstanding issues in the agreement."
"We have informed the mediators and the world that we are ready for the second phase of the agreement."
"We proposed from the beginning that the prisoner exchange should be all at once, but Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is the one who procrastinates," Jabarin said.
"The interest of war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu is to continue the war because the alternative is to go to court," he said.
He pointed out that "there is an agreement that we have been negotiating for 15 months, the essence of which is to stop the war and withdraw from the Gaza Strip, and we want to achieve the goals of our people, not Hamas."
"Until the last moments, the enemy insists on abusing our prisoners before releasing them, and in return the resistance treats enemy prisoners with an unprecedented level of humanity and is brutally confronting it," he said.
