London does not rule out Moscow's return to "G7"
[Tue, 25 Feb 2025 13:09:05 +0300]

London - Saba:
British Deputy Home Secretary Dan Jarvis announced that his country does not rule out Russia's return to the "G7" major industrialized countries, noting that "this matter will be a matter of discussion with London's allies."

Jarvis said, in an interview with the British "Times" radio, when asked whether Russia should be "allowed" to rejoin the "G7": "This will be a matter of discussion with international allies. This is something that will certainly be considered once the conflict in Ukraine ends."

He added that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer "may raise the issue of Russia's return to the G7 during his future talks with US President Donald Trump."

Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said earlier this month that the centers of economic growth have moved to other regions of the world, other than those represented by the "G7", which has lost its economic and social importance.
