Bayda - Saba:
The first handover of Al-Bayda University road paving project was held in Rada'a city, after the completion of its implementation, funded and supervised by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at a cost of 82 million and 771 thousand riyals.
The project, which connects the main street of Al-Bayda University, has a length of 500 meters and a width of 14 meters.
During the handover, Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris thanked the political leadership, the Ministry of Local and Rural Administration and the Central Intervention Unit for their efforts in completing this important project.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Ansi, Vice President of Al-Bayda University, stressed the importance of this project in serving students and improving services in the vicinity of the university. He pointed to the importance of preserving its components.
For his part, the Director of the Movement and Project Implementation Department at the Interventions Unit, Engineer Issam Abu Lahoum, pointed out the importance of this project, which was implemented according to the required engineering standards to ensure its sustainability.
He explained that the project comes within a series of development projects aimed at improving and developing the infrastructure and serving the community in Al-Bayda province.
The Intervention Unit representative in Dhamar and Al-Bayda provinces, Mohammed Nashwan, praised the role of the local authority and its cooperation in accomplishing this project to serve the students and the community.
