Al Mahwit - Saba:
The third batch of cement for 2025, provided by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit to support community initiatives, arrived in Al Mahwit Governorate, as the shipment includes 10,200 bags of cement.
The support aims to enhance community participation in the implementation of development projects to improve infrastructure and basic services, such as road construction, bridge construction, and improvement of schools and health facilities.
The Secretary-General of the Local Council in the governorate, Dr. Ali Al-Zikem, stressed that this support reflects the government's commitment to supporting popular efforts and strengthening community partnership, pointing to its role in advancing local development and alleviating the suffering of citizens.
The representative of the Interventions Unit, Eng. Mukhtar Al-Turki, explained that this batch is the third during 2025 to support infrastructure projects and motivate the community to implement sustainable service projects.
The Director of Community Initiatives, Ali Al-Shahdi, stressed the importance of these projects in promoting development, while district officials expressed their appreciation for the support provided to meet the necessary needs of the community.
