Sana'a - Saba:
The Interior Ministry and the Traffic Police in Sana'a inaugurated on Saturday the second phase of the Road Traffic Police project, as part of the traffic police's transformative projects aimed at providing humanitarian services to drivers and users of long roads linking the provinces.
The inauguration comes after equipping six centers dedicated to providing traffic and humanitarian services in the "Sana'a - Dhamar - Ibb - Taiz" lines, the "Sana'a - Amran - Sa'ada" road, and the "Sa'ada - Malahiz - Haradh" road, and will include the rest of the roads connecting the rest of the provinces in other stages.
At the inauguration, the Director General of the Traffic Police, Major General Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, stressed the keenness of the Ministry of Interior to provide full and unlimited support to the Traffic Police to improve the level of services provided and reduce accidents, congestion and traffic violations.
Dr. Albarashi urged Road Traffic Police cadres to feel the religious and national responsibility in providing traffic services and to be charitable to citizens and serve them, stressing the need for everyone to be faithfully and patriotically aware when providing services, and the importance of evaluating performance, improving weaknesses, and developing strengths.
The Director General of the Traffic Police also emphasized that the Traffic Police, with the support and attention of the leadership of the Interior Ministry, will exert more efforts and energies to develop performance, enhance traffic safety, and preserve the safety and property of citizens.
