The Yemeni Oil Company issued a clarification regarding its receipt over the past few days of reports from a number of citizens about the occurrence of some technical malfunctions in their cars and motorcycles as a result of filling quantities of gasoline from some petrol stations.
The company indicated in the clarification that it quickly assigned field technical committees to go to a number of stations to examine the materials in them, and to work on studying the quality of those cars in which some technical failures occurred to find out the real reasons that led to this.
The company confirmed that it has also taken precautionary measures to strengthen the monitoring work to ensure that any possibilities of this issue are addressed until the completion of the work of the competent committees to diagnose the defect, if any, and provide the necessary solutions.
"We will provide you with the results and updates when they are ready in all transparency and credibility," it said.
Yemen Oil Company called on all citizens to cooperate with it by reporting any similar cases or technical issues resulting from the use of fuel by calling the toll-free number 8001700, or sending a WhatsApp message to 782200930.
It assured citizens that the safety and quality of oil derivatives is a top priority, and that it is keen to provide materials that conform to Yemeni specifications to meet the needs of citizens with full responsibility and transparency, as everyone knew it in the most difficult circumstances and crises during the years of aggression and the brutal blockade on our country.
