Two cultural evenings were held in the Saafan district of Sana'a province to commemorate the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, and the Battle of Badr al-Kubra.
In the presence of the directorate's General Mobilization Officer Mohammed Sharifa, the participants' speeches explained that the coincidence of this anniversary with the continued US and Zionist aggression against the Palestinian and Yemeni peoples calls for action to enhance awareness of the nation's issues, especially the central issue of Palestine.
They pointed to the status of Imam Ali, peace be upon him, among the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him and the Muslims. They reviewed his positions and sacrifices in championing the truth and defending the oppressed.
The speeches urged to embody his morals and follow his path in confronting tyrants and arrogant people. The speeches emphasized continuing to support the Palestinians and confronting the aggression against Yemen.
They touched on the challenges facing the nation today, which requires adhering to the methodology of the Holy Qur'an, rallying behind the flags of guidance and benefiting from the biography of Imam Ali in the fight against American arrogance. The speeches emphasized the importance of participating in the preparation of the Eid convoy for those who are stationed on the fronts of glory.
