180,000 worshippers performed on Wednesday evening Isha and Taraweeh prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Al-Quds.
The Department of Islamic Endowments in occupied Al-Quds said that 180,000 worshippers performed the Isha and Taraweeh prayers on the twenty-sixth day of the blessed month of Ramadan, in the spirit of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in preparation for the celebration of Laylat al-Qadr.
Earlier, local sources reported that the enemy forces turned back thousands of citizens at Qalandia and Bethlehem checkpoints, including women, the elderly and children, who were on their way to Al-Aqsa Mosque, under the pretext that they did not have the required permits that enable them to enter.
Al-Quds Governorate reported that the Zionist enemy forces prevented a number of elderly people from entering Al-Quds to celebrate Laylat al-Qadr in Al-Aqsa Mosque, despite the fact that they had permits.
It added that the Zionist enemy turned the city of Al-Quds into a military barracks and imposed severe restrictions on those coming to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and checked the identities of young men at the entrances to the Old City , the gates of the mosque, and prevented a number of them from entering.
