Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian citizen early Friday morning after he was shot in the town of Meithalun, south of Jenin.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, quoted local sources as saying that a special Israeli army force infiltrated Meithalun, surrounded the home of Abdul Karim Rabaya, and shot him with live ammunition. They then subjected him to field investigation before arresting him.

The sources added that Israeli forces prevented ambulance crews from reaching Rabaya and arrested him without knowing his health condition.

In the same context, Israeli forces smashed the windows of several citizens' vehicles last night during their raid on the village of Osarin, south of Nablus.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed Osarin and opened heavy fire. Clashes erupted in the area, and soldiers smashed the windows of several citizens' vehicles.
