Tehran - Saba:
International Quds Day marches, held on the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, began this morning in Iranian cities, towns, and villages, with events also beginning in the capital, Tehran.
Tasnim International News Agency reported that these marches are being held in more than 900 cities, with participants heading toward Friday prayers.
In Tehran, the marches are witnessing a wide turnout from various segments of the population, departing from ten routes toward Tehran University, the designated gathering place for Friday prayers.
According to Tasnim News Agency, this year's slogan has been chosen as "I am committed to Quds," while Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf will be the keynote speaker at the central event in the capital.
Zeinab Nasrallah, daughter of the late Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, will also deliver a speech before the Friday sermon.
From the very first moments of the marches' launch, participants thronged the streets, waving Palestinian and resistance flags, to denounce the Zionist entity's ongoing crimes for 80 years, particularly those committed over the past 16 months, which have resulted in the deaths of 50,000 men, women, children, and youth. Participants also demanded the liberation of Quds and the prosecution of the leaders of this occupying entity.
