Hodeida - Saba:
Seven fishermen returned to the Fish Landing Center in Saleef, Hodeida province, after four months of kidnapping and torture in the prisons of the Saudi enemy.
During their reception, the director of the center, Rami Faisal, expressed the General Authority for Fisheries in the Red Sea's condemnation of all criminal practices and continuous violations against fishermen by the aggression coalition and their mercenaries. He held the United Nations and its organizations responsible for the crimes against Yemeni fishermen.
The fishermen confirmed that they were kidnapped while practicing fishing near Katama Island, two days after they entered the sea, when their boat's engine malfunctioned, which led them to stop, with the wind wave that swept them north, to be lured by a patrol of the Saudi enemy and kidnapped at gunpoint.
They indicated that they were taken to Farasan Island after their fish were confiscated, interrogated and detained there for ten days, then transferred to the Jizan region, where they were imprisoned for four months under harsh conditions of starvation and arbitrary practices by the Saudi aggression authorities.
The fishermen appealed to the international community to condemn all ongoing violations against Yemeni fishermen.
During the reception, the director of the landing center in Saleef handed the fishermen cash sums in accordance with the directives of the Authority's leadership, to help them return to their houses.
