Al-Mahwit province witnessed on Friday 11 massive rallies to commemorate International Quds Day and emphasize the Yemeni people's firm stance in support of the Palestinian cause.
In the marches that took place in the province's center, and the districts of Al-Rajm, Al-Mahwit, Shabam Kawkaban, Al-Tawila, Al-Khabit, Bani Saad, Malhan, Hoora and Wadi Saif, the participants chanted chants denouncing the international silence over the brutal crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in Palestine.
They called on the international community and human rights organizations to take urgent action to stop the Zionist aggression and its horrific massacres against the people of Gaza.
A statement issued by the marches emphasized that International Al-Quds Day coincides this year with the return of the criminal escalation on Gaza and the deadly siege on it by the criminal Zionist enemy with the participation of the tyrant of the age, America, in full view and hearing of the world, in light of shameful and unprecedented Arab and Islamic inaction, as well as the continued Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Syria in an active and clear effort to implement the Zionist project called "Greater Israel" in all of the region.
It explained that the outpouring of Yemenis in these million marches to commemorate International Al-Quds Day is a continuation of their firm and principled position of faith, loyalty and support for the Palestinians, and coincides with the tenth anniversary of the National Day of Steadfastness.
It considered the Yemeni people's revival of International Al-Quds Day even in the most difficult circumstances during the long years of aggression against them without stopping or retreating as proof of the sincerity of their faith, their true adherence to the holy sites and their high readiness to sacrifice for their liberation.
The statement reaffirmed Yemen's principled position, which does not accept compromise or retreat, which is adherence to the Holy Book of Allah, adherence to His directives, loyalty to His loyalists and enmity to His enemies, continuing the line of jihad in His way, and standing with the weak among His servants.
It pointed out that Yemenis will continue to stand against the Zionist and American enemy and confront their aggression against Gaza and Yemen, relying on God and trusting in His victory, without retreating or failing until He grants us His victory.
On the tenth anniversary of the National Day of Steadfastness, he expressed praise to God Almighty, who proved Yemenis and helped them to withstand the US-Saudi Emirati aggression coalition, which committed the most heinous crimes against the Yemeni people, including killing, blockade, plundering wealth and destroying infrastructure.
The statement emphasized that one of the fruits of Yemeni steadfastness is this honorable position in support of the Palestinians, adding, "Just as we previously withstood the worst US-Saudi-Emirati aggression for years due to our position of refusing to submit to America, Israel and their hypocritical tools in the region and our adherence to our principles and values, we are fully prepared to continue our steadfastness and jihad against the imams of infidelity and the lords of hypocrisy and manufacture victories."
