Sana'a-Saba:
Sana'a witnessed a major women's march in commemoration of the International Quds Day, where thousands of women gathered in the square south of the Military Academy, raising Yemeni and Palestinian flags and slogans expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and innocence from the enemies of God.
During the march, Lebanese activist Sundus al-Asaad stressed that Yemen is facing the arrogance of America and Israel and will win this confrontation, considering the silence of Arab regimes on the Israeli aggression in Gaza a major betrayal of the Palestinian cause.
For her part, Akhlaq al-Shami, secretary-general of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood and a member of Ansar Allah's political bureau, delivered the statement issued by the march, stressing that the Palestinian cause is the central issue of the Islamic nation, and that the battle to liberate Jerusalem and Palestine is a collective responsibility that is not limited to the Palestinians alone.
The statement stressed that Yemen will remain committed to supporting the Palestinian cause and will not retreat despite US pressure and aggression, and called on Arab and Islamic regimes to shoulder their responsibilities towards the crimes against the Palestinian people.
