Occupied Al-Quds - Saba:
Nasser al-Hidmi, head of the Jerusalem Anti-Judaization Committee, revealed that the Zionist enemy has reached advanced stages in its project to Judaize the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Palestinian Safa News Agency quoted al-Hidmi as saying on Saturday, "The enemy has succeeded in alienating the Islamic Waqf Department, reducing its authority and influence in Al-Aqsa, reducing the number of worshippers there, and allowing settlers to storm the mosque to perform Talmudic rituals and desecrate it without any clear deterrent."
He continued, "Unfortunately, the enemy is advancing in what it is doing inside Al-Aqsa Mosque, and there are grave fears that it will proceed with its demolition and the construction of the alleged temple in its place, or even the expropriation of part of it."
He emphasized that the enemy is continuing to implement its Judaization plans against Al-Aqsa Mosque, with the intensity of these plans increasing during certain periods, such as the holy month of Ramadan and Jewish holidays, as it sees this as an opportunity to impose a new fait accompli at the mosque.
He explained that "the city of Jerusalem has been experiencing a difficult reality since the beginning of the Zionist war on the Gaza Strip, and there is a state of terrorism imposed by the enemy within the city as a result of the security situation created by the war."
He pointed out that the enemy is waging a fierce attack on Al-Aqsa Mosque by imposing severe restrictions on Muslims' access to the mosque, removing the Marwani worshippers' earphones, and lowering the volume of the call to prayer and prayers in the mosque, under the pretext that they "disturb the Jews," in addition to issuing deportation orders against Jerusalemites.
He added, "We know that the enemy can terrorize and abuse the people of Jerusalem without any response, as in the past, or finding anyone to hold it accountable for its actions and attacks. Therefore, it is exploiting the circumstances of the war on Gaza to do whatever it wants in the mosque."
He explained that the enemy is intensifying its storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque and is exploiting this opportunity to impose further Judaization and abuse, and to impose a new fait accompli in the mosque.
He emphasized that the battle with the enemy is a religious battle waged against Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people, and therefore, it is intensifying and exploiting the opportune moment to Judaize the mosque. He pointed out that the settlers storming Al-Aqsa Mosque see what is happening in Palestine as a golden opportunity to desecrate the mosque, even demolish it, and build the alleged "temple" in its place.
Al-Hidmi said, "There is a grave fear that the situation in Palestine will explode, and that the confrontation will become much more intense than it is now, if the enemy continues its attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque."
He explained that there is a state of defiance facing the Palestinian people and the entire Islamic and Arab nation, while expressing his fear that the enemy will engage in insane actions at Al-Aqsa that could lead to an explosion.
Al-Hidmi called for the need to intensify the presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque and its reconstruction to defend it and thwart the occupation's plans against it.
He emphasized that despite the enemy's strict measures and restrictions, the people of Jerusalem have demonstrated their commitment to their mosque by renovating it and praying there during the month of Ramadan.
