The General Mobilization and the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses in Hodeida Governorate launched today, in al-Zaydiyah District, the summer activities and courses for the Northern Square districts for the year 1446 AH under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad."
At the launch event, attended by Member of Parliament Ali Khabal, the First Deputy Governor, Ahmed Al-Bishri, emphasized the importance of holding summer activities, given their educational and cultural role in enhancing youth awareness and consolidating the principles of religious identity.
He stated that summer activities provide an open educational arena for consolidating religious concepts and developing youth's academic, intellectual, and behavioral capabilities. He explained that these activities are part of the battle for awareness, which is no less important than the battlefields of confrontation.
He emphasized the governorate's leadership's interest in summer activities and its commitment to overcoming all obstacles to ensure that the benefits reach the largest segment of students in various districts, contributing to their protection from cultural invasion and soft warfare.
He noted that the interaction of parents and the community with these activities is the true guarantee of their success, calling for greater coordination and integration between various official and community agencies to expand the scope of benefits and enhance the quality of the activities provided. The First Deputy Governor stressed the importance of integrating the values of volunteer work and collective responsibility into summer activities, as an effective means of creating an aware and fortified generation that can shoulder the responsibility of defending the homeland, its identity, and its sanctities.
At the inauguration, attended by Assistant Deputy Governor Ghaleb Hamza, Major General Fadel Al-Dhayani, Commander of the Northern Axis and Head of the General Mobilization for the Northern Directorates, emphasized that summer activities contribute to protecting students from the dangers of soft warfare by instilling Quranic culture and authentic values.
He noted that national responsibility requires everyone to contribute to the care and rehabilitation of children and youth, appreciating the efforts of educational cadres and community committees in preparing for these activities.
For his part, Director of Al-Zaidia District, Hassan Al-Ahdal, highlighted the importance of community solidarity for the success of summer activities, which provide a platform for instilling national and religious values in the souls of students.
He explained that summer activities include religious, cultural, and sports educational programs aimed at developing students' skills and investing their time in ways that enhance their awareness and national and religious affiliation. The inauguration was attended by directors-general of directorates, representatives of the General Mobilization Forces, directors of the education sector, executive offices, and relevant authorities.
