Sana'a - Saba:
Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Jamal Amer met on Sunday with CEO of the Red Sea Ports Corporation Zaid al-Washli and CEO of Safer Exploration and Production Company Engineer Idris al-Shami.
The meeting discussed the repercussions of the US aggression on the homeland, particularly its impact on civilian facilities and port facilities in Hodeida, as well as the lack of an effective role for international UN organizations in this regard.
Minister Amer considered the US military aggression on the homeland a continuation of a ten-year war during which the Yemeni people have proven their resilience and survival under a leadership that has succeeded in making an unprecedented change in the deterrence equation, not only regionally but also internationally.
He praised the effective role of the Red Sea Ports Corporation in thwarting the aggression's goal of disabling it and keeping it operating despite the blockade and the continued targeting of port facilities.
For his part, al-Washli explained that the ports of Hodeida, al-Salif, and Ras Isa are capable of receiving all cargo ships and will continue to do so and provide logistical services despite the US aggression.
He affirmed his commitment to providing all services to cargo ships of all sizes.
Engineer al-Shami indicated that Safer Company, with its own efforts and resources, is working to operate the "Yemen" ship, which replaced the floating storage tanker Safer after the United Nations reneged on its previously agreed-upon obligations, including completing the procedures for handing over the ship's ownership contract to the Safer Company as its owner.
He noted that any solutions will be addressed in accordance with what was agreed upon in this regard.
