Sana'a - Saba:
The Eye of Humanity Center for Rights and Development condemned the heinous crime committed by the American enemy's air force, targeting a citizen's home in She'eb al-Hafa, in the Sa'wan area of the Shu'ub District in the capital, Sana'a, which resulted in the deaths of several people and the injury of others.
The Eye of Humanity Center affirmed in a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this criminal act constitutes a full-fledged war crime and a flagrant violation of all international norms and conventions, most notably international humanitarian law, which criminalizes the targeting of civilians and safe residential neighborhoods.
The statement indicated that no pretext can justify targeting a safe house in an area populated by innocent civilians, and that it reflects, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the United States' disregard for human life and for human and moral values.
The statement held the US aggression fully responsible for this heinous crime and its humanitarian and legal consequences, calling on the international community, the United Nations, the Human Rights Council, and independent human rights and humanitarian organizations to take urgent and serious action to put an end to these criminal attacks and hold their perpetrators accountable as war criminals before competent international courts.
The statement called for an independent and transparent international investigation into this crime and other similar crimes committed against defenseless civilians, stressing that impunity is no longer acceptable.
It emphasized that misleading public opinion will not erase the blood of innocent victims or prevent justice from being served.
