Naypyidaw - Saba:
The death toll from the twin earthquakes that struck Myanmar ten days ago has risen to 3,564 people.

Myanmar's State Military Command Council said on Monday that the number of injured also rose to 5,000 and 12 people.

The statement pointed out that the search for more than 200 people still missing from the earthquake continues.

The last official death toll from the earthquake was 3,471 dead and 4,671 injured.

On March 28, two strong earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 and 6.4 hit central Myanmar, causing heavy human and material losses.
