The Russian Defense Ministry said today Friday that the losses of Ukrainian forces over the past week amounted to 10,635 soldiers, in addition to Russian forces regaining control of four towns.
In its weekly report on the progress of the military operation in Ukraine, the Russian Defense added that from April 5 to 11, Russian forces conducted eight strikes on Ukrainian forces, targeting military-industrial complexes, military airfields, ammunition depots and marches.
The report noted that during this week, Russian forces were able to regain control of the town of Gevo in Kursk, the towns of Basovka and Juravka in Sumy province, and the town of Katrinivka in Donetsk.
It noted that Russian air defenses were able to shoot down 27 Gadam guided air bombs and 19 HIMARS missiles, in addition to shooting down 1,200 Ukrainian drones.
