Occupied Quds / Nablus - Saba:
Israeli enemy forces stormed the town of Silwan, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, today, Sunday, and imposed fines on the vehicles of Qudsian citizens.
Local Palestinian sources reported that Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at the Silwan Bridge junction and imposed fines on a number of vehicles.
These fines are a punitive measure used by the occupation against Qudsians, imposed under flimsy pretexts. On November 20 of last year, the Israeli occupation imposed a fine of 50,000 shekels on a Qudsian citizen and his wife for parking their vehicles on land claimed to be a Jewish cemetery in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces tightened their security measures at the military checkpoints surrounding the city of Nablus in the West Bank on Sunday.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli forces obstructed the movement of Palestinian citizens at the military checkpoints (Al-Murabba'a, Beit Furik, Deir Sharaf, the entrance to the village of Burin, and Awarta) surrounding the city of Nablus, leading to severe traffic congestion.
