Al-Kuwait University Hospital administration confirmed that the new building at the hospital is dedicated to the heart center, cardiac catheterization, university cardiac surgery, pediatrics and neonatology.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Al- Kuwait Hospital administration explained that the heart center is an integrated medical and educational project, which came to meet the growing need for specialized cardiac services.
The statement categorically denied what is rumored on social media about the use of the upper floor of the center for security purposes, stressing that these allegations aim to confuse the center's humanitarian , medical mission and deprive citizens of its vital services.
The statement pointed out that the building consists of several specialized departments including: Clinics, catheterization, operations, cardiac care, wards, pediatrics, medical education, in addition to the pediatric cardiac catheterization department, which is the first of its kind in the Republic, indicating that the center receives more than 200 patients from different provincese every day and includes a distinguished medical team of consultants and specialists in cardiology and catheterization, supported by a highly qualified nursing and technical staff.
