Sheikh Ali Damoush, Deputy Chairman of Hezbollah's Executive Council, said that the resistance will remain to protect Lebanon, stressing that "the cancer ravaging Lebanon and the region is Israel, and behind it is the United States, a full partner in all the occupation's crimes in Lebanon, Palestine, and the rest of the region."
Damoush added during his Friday sermon that the United States' primary goal in Lebanon is to protect Israel, enable it to impose its control and achieve its ambitions, and use it as a tool to subjugate all those who oppose American hegemony in the region.
