Israeli warplanes continued their bombardment of various areas of the Gaza Strip on the 33rd day of the resumption of aggression on the Strip, leaving a large number of Palestinian martyrs and wounded.According to local Palestinian sources, the death toll in the past twenty-four hours has exceeded sixty, more than half of whom were in Khan Younis, south of the Gaza Strip.
Palestinian media reported that five members of the al-Qadi family were killed after an Israeli helicopter targeted their home in the Mawasi area of Khan Younis. They were Ahmed Ziad al-Qadi, his wife, and his children.
The media added that four Palestinian citizens, including two children and a girl, were killed and wounded when a tent housing displaced persons belonging to the Abu Nada family was bombed in the Mawasi area, west of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian paramedic was killed and 20 others were injured, including 15 children, when a home belonging to the Abu Shamala family was bombed in the Khan Younis refugee camp in the southern Gaza Strip.
A one-and-a-half-year-old Palestinian child was also killed when shrapnel struck his family's tent in the Israeli bombing of the Abu Shamala family home.
Six Palestinian citizens, including three brothers from the Shabir family, were killed when a barbershop in central Khan Younis was bombed, bringing the death toll in Khan Younis since Friday morning to approximately 30.
In Gaza and the north, five Palestinians were killed and several others were injured as a result of Israeli shelling of a tent in the Abu Hasira area near the port west of Gaza City. The martyrs were identified as Mohammed Khalifa, his wife, and their children, when an Israeli drone bombed a tent near Abu Hasira Street west of Gaza City.
Israeli forces also blew up several Palestinian homes east of Gaza City.
On Friday evening, seven Palestinian citizens were killed and several others were injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Nassar family home near al-Sikka Street in the al-Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.
Four others, including two children, were also killed in Israeli shelling near Site 17 west of al-Saftawi in northern Gaza.
