Rector of Mahweet University Dr. Mohammed al-Shalabi on Tuesday visited Martyr Abu Harb al-Mulasi Center in Mahweet city to observe the ongoing summer activities.
During his inspection, Dr. al-Shalabi, accompanied by University Secretary-General Abdullatif al-Akhram and Dean of the College of Administrative and Human Sciences Dr. Abdulmalik Mazariq, received a briefing on student participation and their engagement with the summer courses. A particular focus was placed on the students' progress in memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran.
Dr. al-Shalabi emphasized the vital role of summer courses in shaping future generations and equipping them with essential knowledge, learning, and Quranic understanding. He noted that the leadership's attention to these programs reflects a commitment to developing a generation grounded in their faith-based identity and capable of confronting various challenges.
He further stressed the necessity of collaborative efforts to ensure the success of these courses and to achieve their intended objectives of enhancing young people's knowledge and capabilities while safeguarding them from the "soft power of war."
