The Women's National Committee in Dhamar province organized on Saturday a training workshop on house food processing for cadres of summer schools for girls in Dhamar city directorate.
The workshop, which was organized with the support of the Public Authority for the Development of Small and Micro Enterprises, was attended by 24 participants, in coordination with the Summer Schools Subcommittee.
At the inauguration, Dr. Ashwaq Al-Mahdi, head of the WNC branch in Dhamar province, stressed the branch's keenness to exploit summer activities to prepare female trainers in the fields of food processing.
She pointed out that the workshop comes within the framework of preparations to implement a training program for girls participating in summer schools, as part of the efforts of the branch of the National Committee for Women and the General Authority for the Development of Small and Micro Enterprises in the field of house food processing and food safety.
In turn, the coordinator of the Ansar Allah Women's Cultural Organization in the province, Zal Al-Ham Mukhur, praised this step aimed at providing the participants with experiences and skills in house food processing.
The house food processing expert, Amal Al-Humati, reviewed the content of the training program, which includes key concepts and skills of the house food processing process, health requirements, and food safety standards that must be met and adhered to during the manufacturing process.
