Dhamar - Saba:
220 surgeries were performed during the 63rd free ophthalmology camp, implemented by the Health Care Association for Affected Communities in coordination with the Ministry of Health and Environment in the Wasab Al-Safil District of Dhamar Governorate.The association's president, Dr. Nashwan Al-Attab, explained to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the operations included 191 cataract surgeries, 27 pterygium removal surgeries, one cyst removal, and one foreign body removal, funded by Yemen Mobile.
He stated that the camp, which was held at the Al-Ahad Rural Hospital in the district and lasted five days in cooperation with the governorate's health office, aimed to alleviate the suffering of patients from poor families.
Dr. Al-Attab indicated that the camp was part of promoting social solidarity and charity for the poorest and most needy groups, praising Yemen Mobile's humanitarian role and its support for the medical camp.
