Al-Mukhtar explained the progress of excavation work, the readiness of pipes, sewage connections, project route lines, and the overall percentage of completion.

Al-Mukhtar noted that the project entails the construction of a 7.5-kilometer sewage network for al-Kamb neighborhood, including connections to 198 inspection chambers and 188 manholes. The project is valued at $545,000 and is funded by UNOPS as part of the Water and Sanitation for Urban Cities Project.
