Zionist enemy forces suppressed a solidarity protest on Friday afternoon, organized by landowners in the town of ad-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron, against the establishment of a new settlement outpost on their lands.
According to Palestinian media sources, dozens of citizens participated in the protest to oppose the settlers' seizure of their lands in the "Al-Hammar" area and the establishment of a pastoral settlement outpost. The protest was later dispersed by the enemy army, which assaulted several citizens.
Worshippers performed Friday prayers near their lands, which the occupation forces had prevented them from accessing.
The Zionist enemy army detained three young men for several hours before releasing them after the protest ended.
Earlier in the morning, settlers raised the occupation flag over the outpost they set up in the Al-Hammar area between the village of al-Burj and the town of ad-Dhahiriya, on lands belonging to Palestinian citizens. This came after several days of setting up mobile homes and tents, with continuous protection provided by occupation forces.
