The leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), Mahmoud Mardawi, considered the statement of the Zionist enemy government regarding the prisoner exchange file as a "blatant misleading attempt" aimed at evading the benefits of the prisoner exchange deal.

Mardawi explained in a press statement on Saturday that the movement emphasizes its adherence to a comprehensive deal that includes a complete ceasefire, a full withdrawal from Gaza Strip, a prisoner exchange, and the start of the reconstruction process.

"It is clear that Netanyahu does not seek to return the Zionist prisoners, but rather risks their lives and uses them as a cover to continue the war and achieve internal political gains," he emphasized.
