Sana'a - (Saba):
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms of varying intensity across parts of several provinces over the next 24 hours.
The center stated in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity are likely to fall on parts of the governorates of Amran, Sana'a, Al Mahwit, Dhamar, and Raymah.
Scattered rain is also expected to fall on parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Dhale'e, Ibb, Taiz, the western parts of Al Jawf, Ma'rib, and Al Bayda, the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwah, Hadhramaut, and parts of the western and southern coasts and the corresponding inland areas.
Rain may also fall on scattered parts of the Tihama Plain.
According to the center, the rainfall during the past 24 hours, measured at the Taiz Al Ma'afir Meteorological Station, was 9.9 mm.
Scattered rains also fell outside the scope of monitoring stations in parts of the governorates of Hadhramaut, Shabwa, Abyan, Al Bayda, Dhale'e, Lahj, Raymah, and Dhamar.
The center warned citizens of flash floods in valleys and ravines, thunderstorms, strong downward winds, and reduced horizontal visibility on mountain roads due to rain, low clouds, and fog.
